Historic route paritially with Tigray churches


Day 1	Arrival in Addis Ababa, city tour, at night hotel
Day 2	Drive to Dejen along the way visit Debre Libanos monastery, the Portuguese bridge and the Blue Nile River, at night hotel.
Day 3	Drive to Bahir Dar, Afternoon city tour, at night hotel
Day 4	Full day Bahir Dar, morning excursion Blue Nile falls and Afternoon boot trip on Lake Tana visiting the monasteries and, at night hotel.
Day 5	Drive to Gondar, visit castles and churches in the Afternoon, at night hotel
Day 6	Drive to Axum, passing through the Semien Mountains at night hotel
Day 7	Full day visit Axum, at night hotel.
Day 8	Drive to the Yeha temple; so proceed to the Debre Damo monastery, where men climb with ropes for about 16m. Women are not allowed.
Day 9	Drive to Mekele, on the way visits some churches as Abreha-we-Atsbeha &n Wukro Cherkos at night hotel.
Day 10	Drive to Lalibela, admiring remarkable view via Sekota, at night hotel
Day 11	Full day visit Lalibela, the 11 monolithic churches, at night hotel.
Day 12	Morning excursion by mules to the Asheten Mariam Afternoon drive to the Naktule’ab cave church and possibly participate to a coffee ceremony in a traditional house.
Day 13	Flight Lalibela-Addis Ababa, Afternoon free and visit Merkato, biggest open air market in Africa. Dinner with folkloristic dance at night hotel
